Primary Responsibilities:
The HTS / ADME Scientist will be an integral member of our team working with designers, scientists, and engineers to build innovative solutions within the bio-pharma / drug discovery area.
This role is a front-line delivery and support resource for Echo MS customers and is primarily responsible for successful implementations and support of our products in the field, including hardware, software, and science.
This role provides customer training as well as training for internal resources (Field Service Engineers) on our Echo MS products and automation systems. You will be an integral part of the new business acquisition process and customer support. This will be achieved with significant, direct customer interaction as well as interaction with our third-party vendors.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations that show groundbreaking LC/MS product and workflows in biopharma and pharma.
Work with product development and research to assist in defining, developing, and thoroughly testing new hardware and software products.
Perform application development directed at advancing cutting edge LC/MS and MS/MS in new market areas.
You will properly document project and on-site activities and generate documentation as well as report issues and escalate to management as needed.
Experience required:
Bachelor of Science degree in a Life Sciences discipline or Engineering is required.
Five or more years of professional work experience in a life science drug discovery laboratory environment.
Sound understanding and scientific practice of HTS (High Throughput Screening) as well as ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Elimination) and Toxicity
Experience with hardware/software customization, robotics, and automated workflow development including design, implementation, support, and training. Understanding of molecular devices / MS Echo is a plus.
Ability to work on site in greater Boston area (Framingham) with some travel. Relocation assistance can be considered
