BioInformatics Co-Director Ladder Faculty Position in Laboratory Medicine at Yale
NEW HAVEN, CONNECTICUT (USA). The Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine seeks an MD, MD/PhD or a PhD with expertise in Computational Biology and Biomedical Informatics for a full-time, ladder faculty position in the Department as Co-Director of the Laboratory Informatics Section. The successful candidate would be expected to have experience overseeing clinical laboratory testing, with special expertise in next generation sequencing, genomics, and/or metagenomics. It is preferred that the candidate has experience with federal (e.g., CLIA/CAP) regulatory bodies and ideally also with state (e.g., NYS DOH) regulations.
