Postdoctoral RESEARCH FELLOW- Mechanisms of Allergic Responses
DescriptionThe Rothenberg Laboratory is focused on elucidating the mechanisms of allergic responses. The goal of the research is to identify novel pharmaceutical targets for the treatment of patients with diseases such as food allergies, asthma, and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. The laboratory has identified, and molecularly and biologically characterized critical pathways that regulate allergic responses including allergen recognition, leukocyte trafficking, barrier function, and the role of allergic inflammatory cells (including eosinophils, mast cells and CD4+ effector memory Type 2 T cells) in homeostasis and disease.
