Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Application Scientist to join our team and lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing and validating methods for the analysis of complex samples and supporting our customers in the implementation of these methods in their laboratories. The Senior Application Scientist will also lead and contribute to customer-facing projects, collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals, and ensure that our products and services meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize analytical methods for the analysis of complex samples
• Validate methods and develop robust procedures to ensure reproducibility and accuracy
• Lead and contribute to customer-facing projects, providing technical expertise and support to customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of methods and products
• Stay current with scientific literature, industry trends, and emerging technologies related to the field of application
• Train and mentor other members of the team and provide technical guidance to customers
• Author technical reports, white papers, and scientific publications to communicate results to customers and the scientific community
• Present scientific data at conferences, seminars, and other scientific events

Qualifications:

• PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Expertise in the development and optimization of analytical methods for complex samples, such as protein characterization, metabolomics, or genomics
• Proven track record of successful customer-facing projects and collaborations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, collaborators, and internal teams
• Experience with mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and other analytical techniques commonly used in the field of application
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in scientific writing and presentation skills
