The Chemical Biology and Therapeutics (CBT) Department at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Researcher with our Analytical Technologies and Compound Management Teams.
In this role, you will support scientific advancement across research labs at St Jude by ensuring the quality of chemical matter used for biological screening.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic, forward thinking, and possess outstanding technical skills, a commitment to excellence, and understanding of modern analytical technologies, specifically including LC/MS.

Responsibilities
- Following established procedures, tests and analyzes the quality, purity, and concentration of small molecule compounds
- Provides accurate testing results in a timely manner
- Composes technical reports and standard operating procedures
- Performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and validation on laboratory instrumentation.
- Proactively seeks and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement that result in improvement of accuracy, repeatability, productivity, reliability and efficiency of instruments, test methods and laboratory practices.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required.
Minimum Experience
- Two (2) years of relevant, post-degree work experience is required with a Bachelor's degree.
- No experience is required with a Master's degree.
