The Department of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine at Childrenâs Hospital Los Angeles is actively seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist with Master training in Bioinformatics. Academic rank will be commensurate with training and achievement. Applications are being sought at the Assistant Professor Level. This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologist interested in pursuing an academic career in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Our Department is committed to clinical service, clinical research and didactic instruction of postgraduate trainees in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Applicants must have completed an ACGME pediatric anesthesiology fellowship and be board certified in pediatric anesthesiology or become board certified within 1 year of hire. The Department is responsible for nearly 20,000 anesthetics per year with over 900 heart cases and for the care of over 2400 ICU admissions.
