The USC Viterbi School of Engineering is looking to hire a part-time faculty to teach within our Petroleum Engineering program at the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science.
The ideal candidate must have a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering or a related field with a minimum of two years of teaching and or research experience at an institution of higher learning or a research center. Â In particular, we are looking for candidates with experience and publications in soft computing using fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, artificial neural networks, deep learning, machine learning, and expert systems. Â The candidate also needs to have expertise in oilfield subsurface data visualization.Â
