Duties of this position will include didactic and clinical teaching, advising, and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in the sports medicine fellowship. Medical practice in sports medicine at the MHealth Fairview primary care sports medicine clinic and other locations; administrative and other related duties as assigned. Participate in faculty meetings and serve on committees as needed. Participate in faculty development, curriculum development, and scholarship/research opportunities. Training room and sideline care with fellows, residents, and medical students for high schools, colleges, and/or community events for education and community service in our resident and fellow clinic catchment areas. Required: MD/DO degree, completion of a family practice residency, ABFM certified or eligible or DO equivalent, licensed or license eligible in Minnesota, training/experience in the practice of sports medicine and point of care ultrasound. Preferred: Fellowship and CAQ in Sports Medicine. Experience with teaching medical students, residents and/or fellows. Two or more years of practice experience beyond sports medicine fellowship. One or more years of medical teaching experience. Experience in scholarly activities and in mentoring trainees in scholarly activities. Experience in educational program and curriculum development and evaluation. |
