Summary Description: Columbia University Cancer Population Sciences NCI-funded Training Program announces an opening for a laboratory-based postdoctoral fellow. The program is highly multidisciplinary, encompassing the fields of breast cancer, epidemiology, molecular epidemiology, DNA damage, repair capacity assessment and biostatistics. The strong emphasis on transdisciplinary collaborative research will provide the necessary research skills for cancer-related population studies. We are specifically looking for someone interested in performing and integration of various phenotypic DNA repair assays into a large-scale breast cancer (BC) study, using robotically-based, cellular screening systems. This program is within the context of a strong NCI-funded comprehensive cancer center.
