Job Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct research in a molecular and cellular neuroscience/stem cell lab for disease modeling using patient derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) and novel mouse model. Plan and conduct experiments (25%).
Perform data analysis and generate figures (15%)
Work with rodents (15%)
Work with tissue culture. (25%)
Perform as a lab manager. Duties include ordering supplies, write and maintain biosafety and animal/human subject protocols (20%).
Required Qualifications: - BS/BA degree and 2 years related experience or a combination of education and work to equal 6 years. - Demonstrated experience in biochemical, molecular, and cellular biological techniques in neuroscience or stem cell biology. - Ability to conduct experiments independently or with minimal supervision. - Ability to perform lab manager duties including ordering supplies, write and maintain biosafety and animal/human subject protocols.
Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in related field - Previous experience with rodent research and cell culture.
