Our compound management CRO is looking for a motivated person to work on the Project management team. This person will need to be knowledgeable about the daily operations of the business, and communicate effectively between external clients, as well as internal team members. Data handling, generation of standard operating procedures, and reporting will be regular required tasks. Extensive Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must. This position will work under the direction of the Director of Client Services with independent performance of the duties assigned.
Essential Functions:
Client Interaction
Ensure all service level agreements are achieved on a daily basis for each project
Create and modify standard operating procedures as needed based upon clear understanding of client requirements
Anticipate customers’ needs and proactively consult with internal project team to plan project implementation
Communicate effectively through email, telephone, and in person with clients, as well as internal team members
Mitigate risk of new projects, and address any issues with new and/or ongoing projects
Ensure that all deadlines are met
Data Management
Collate, modify, and review Excel data files
Data file comparison
Retrieve reports through internal software tools
Generate reports for internal and external order tracking reviews, inventories, costs and billables
Perform necessary scientific calculations associated with order processing
Experience with LIMS
Ability to communicate and maintain multiple safety guidelines
Additional duties as assigned by Director of Client Services

Education and Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the compound management, liquid handling, or similar contract research scientific industry
Four-year degree preferred
Thorough attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team and interact routinely with the scientific staff at all varieties of research organizations
High level of personal leadership, be self-motivated, well-organized, and able to think strategically
Good interpersonal and communication skills in order to work well with the team and to respond and negotiate with research partners
Excellent data management skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office software, particularly an extensive knowledge and understanding of MS Excel required
