Employment Type: Postdoctoral Scholar Vacancy ID: PDS002958 Position Summary/Description: An unusual postdoctoral fellowship is being offered by Lampe Distinguished Professor Frances Ligler to work on a collaboration with Dr. Imran Rizvi in the areas of engineered approaches to overcome chemoresistance in cancer and targeted photodynamic therapy. The postdoc is expected to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and with minimal supervision. Education and Experience: We are looking for a highly motivated, productive individual with a strong interest in targeted drug delivery, molecular cancer therapeutics, and photochemistry. Preferred candidates should have experience in mammalian cell culture and at least two of the following areas: molecular biology, photochemistry-based combination therapies, mechanobiology, fluorescence microscopy, and/or design of 3D tumor models.
