Department Name: 7H852:NEUROLOGY Job Summary: The department of Neurology is seeking a Laboratory Technician Senior. Will assist in design, analysis and execution of experiments related to investigations of Parkinson’s disease and related neurodegenerative diseases. This position will involve cell culture experiments, molecular biology experiments and histopathology with utilization of human samples. Experience in cell culture and molecular biology (Western blot, flow cytometry, ELISA, immunoprecipitation) is preferred. Need ability to work both independently and cooperatively, with some oversite duties and lab upkeep duties. Assist with preparing figures for publication and manuscript generation. Skills /Knowledge/Abilities: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is required. Position Time Status: Full-Time Required Education: BS Required Related Experience: 1 yr Required License/Registration/Certification : None Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in biological sciences or related area and five years of laboratory experience in academic or biotech laboratory preferred.
