The role

As a Tech Lead -Java, you will be working with outstanding digital talent to innovate and create great solutions for iconic names.

Further responsibilities will include:

• Collaboratively working as part of a multi-disciplined feature team to design and implement software solutions
• Work with business analysts to translate business requirements into working software
• Consistently look to explore new frameworks and design patterns that help us build solutions that excite
• Manage diverse teams where people are recognised for their contribution

Here are some areas that we are currently looking into:

• Blockchain platforms
• Micro-services and cloud-native design
• Alternative JVM languages and frameworks
• Container-based architecture

Your experience

• Managed teams and mentored/led others
• Set technical standards and applying those and with both design and architecture
• Knowledge of Java/JVM based development practices
• Build and test automation - ideally continuous delivery
• Understanding of modern Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle
