Our laboratory carries out translational research on wastewater-based surveillance of SARS-CoV-2. We are seeking a Technician B to provide general research support.
Conduct experiments, analyze results and maintain scientific records.
Carry out standard procedures for protocols.
Perform microbiological and molecular biology techniques including RNA isolation, RT-PCR and whole genome sequencing under supervision.
Maintain laboratory equipment, comply with laboratory safety regulations, and provide quality control.
Performs other related duties necessary to the functioning of the laboratory and its research projects.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Prior research experience
The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made
