Patent GC, a Member-only provider of on-demand intellectual property services, is expanding. We’re looking for a former senior in-house patent counsel, with at least 10 years of experience including both law firm and in-house roles, to join our team as a Member.
Patent GC offers a unique alternative to a traditional law firm or in-house career. We have a unique model that affords our attorneys work-life balance and high-quality legal engagements. Attorneys are not expected to source their own clients. You must be willing and able to be responsive to clients and work independently and remotely.
As a Patent GC attorney you will:
Choose whether you work full or part-time
Represent a mix of premier clients serving as “on-demand” in-house counsel

Ideal attorney and requirements:
Licensed attorney with patent preparation and prosecution experience in biotechnology or chemistry
Advanced degree in molecular biology, cell biology, chemistry or related discipline
At least 10 years of combined experience at a top law firm and in-house with biotechnology or chemistry relation patent application preparation and prosecution
Excels in representing start-ups, universities, and fast-growing companies
Desire to focus on patent application preparation and prosecution
