Bachelor's degree. Research experience using molecular biology and genetics techniques. Experience working Drosophila or other genetic model organisms.

Summary The Research Technician II is responsible for coordinating the testing of samples. Monitors and maintains lab equipment. Troubleshoots issues in the lab.
Example of Duties â¢ Performs a variety of tests requiring a high degree of proficiency. â¢ Collects, analyzes, and processes laboratory samples or research data. â¢ Troubleshoots problems and recommends solutions. â¢ Determines testing methods for non-standardized test. â¢ Cleans, sanitizes, maintains, and operates lab equipment. â¢ Assists scientists with research and record findings in the field or lab. â¢ Maintains sample tracking. Â
