There are multiple research associate positions available in the Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism to work in the laboratories of Drs. Robbins, Dr. Niedernhofer and Dr. Camell.
90% Projects include the developing treatments for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, optimizing and testing novel senolytics, dissecting the role of senescence in driving aging and disease using novel mouse models, stem cell derived extra-cellular vesicles as therapeutics and lipids in aging and diseases.
10% Manuscript and grant preparation Be able to assist in the preparation of the assay results for publication and grant proposals. This will include writing of material and methods and assimilating the results into tables and figures.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology or a related field. Demonstrated ability to design experiments and publish research.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in molecular biology, mouse models, neurodegeneration, drug development, immunology or lipid biology preferred, but not required.
