The Shapirohttps://iq.msu.edu/erik-shapiro/ and Giladhttp://giladlab.iq.msu.edu laboratories have an immediate opening for a shared postdoctoral fellow focused on molecular biology for new biomedical imaging applications. The applicant should have expertise in modern cloning techniques, including the use of viral vectors, tissue culture of mammalian cells, and preferably with some familiarity with CRISPR/Cas9 methods and synthetic biology. The scientist should also be enthusiastic about training junior members of the laboratories in these methods, serving as a mentor in this regard.
