JOBSUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Senior Evaluator and Data TrackingSpecialist leads and develops the implementation of the evaluation plan anddata tracking system for the Tennessee Clinical and Translational ScienceInstitute (TN-CTSI), a state-wide, clinical, and translational researchresource for research staff, students, and faculty. This position isresponsible for providing the evaluation strategy and approach and developingand implementing policies and procedures that will be used to evaluate andtrack the TN-CTSI programs. Also responsible for developing goals andidentifying milestones and metrics for each TN-CTSI Core; directing thecollection and reporting of metrics and outcome data; analyzing andinterpreting quantitative and qualitative data; and utilizing data collectionmethods, such as interviews and focus groups, to produce evaluation reports.
Establishes and edits the evaluation plan for TN-CTSI, as necessary.
Develops and implements metric tracking procedures.
Creates data collection/survey instruments and evaluates data collected.
Reports metrics and prepares written reports weekly.
Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data to assess the effectiveness of TN-CTSI.
Evaluates TN-CTSI activities and discuss course corrections, as needed.
Compiles, integrates, and prepares an analysis of data to inform of process improvements.
Prepares illustrative results and utilizes results to create reports/presentations/publications.
Collaborates with other Clinical and Translational Science Awards to improve evaluation approaches.
Assists the project manager and PI with generating tables, lists, graphics, and reports, as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
