The Khadempour laboratory at Rutgers University-Newark seeks a Post-Doctoral Associate (with at least two years of post-Ph.D.experience) with expertise in viral ecology. The ideal candidate will have experience with cell culture, virus isolation, bioinformatics, entomology, bacteriology, and viruses in both medical and non-medical settings. The successful candidate should have experience mentoring, leading projects, and grant writing. The position is for one year, with an additional year based on a positive performance review and available, continued funding. Anticipated start date is March 1, 2021.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Ph.D. with expertise in viral ecology and at least two years of experience post-Ph.D.
