The Laboratory of Jack Elias MD is seeking a Postdoctoral Research (Associate or Fellow) to join the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology. The area of research is focused on cellular and molecular investigations in the pathogenesis of lung injury and repair. The candidate will use murine modeling systems, genetically modified mice, and human samples to define basic paradigms of biology and their relevance to important human lung diseases.
The minimum requirements for a successful candidate include a recent PhD degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Physiology, Immunology, or related fields. Experience in acute and chronic lung diseases is highly desirable.
