Lab Research Technician (Cancer Biology/Drug Development Lab) - (200000S8)
The University of Maryland, Marlene & Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer is seeking a part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) Lab Research Tech/Assistant. The individual in this position will focus on supporting in vivo studies involving cancer models - handling, dosing, weighing, imaging mice and managing a transgenic strain of mice. To a lesser extent, this individual will process clinical trial specimens (isolation of DNA/RNA/protein and PBMCs from blood) and lastly he/she will help with in vitro work.
Required : Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry or other relevant science.
One year of experience in in vivo models and handling rodents is preferred.
