Essential Functions: A position is available for a postdoctoral research associate with an interest in in studying how the immune system regulates the function of metabolic organs to support normal metabolism and contribute to the pathogenesis of obesity and type diabetes. Specifically, we are interested in understanding how immune cells such as group 2 innate lymphoid cells, eosinophils, macrophages, and T cells regulate glucose, lipid, and energy metabolism. This work involves the use of mouse models, tissue culture, metabolism techniques, immunology techniques, and molecular biology.
