The Department of Urology and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine are leading the search for a full-time tenure track Investigator up to the rank Professor in the area of prostate cancer biology. Qualified candidates will have a PhD or MD or dual degree and an outstanding record of research in prostate cancer biology. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of cancer biology, which could include cancer genetics and proteomics, cancer cell biology, tumor microenvironment, cancer stem cells, metastasis, tumor immunology, chemical biology, cancer metabolism, oncogenic signal transduction pathways, genome integrity, and cancer epigenetics. We are seeking an individual with an established program in prostate cancer who is drawn to the broad opportunities at Northwestern with its collaborative clinical programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The Center for Genetic Medicine houses the NUgene biobank and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center offers a robust research infrastructure for translation.
