Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey seeks an academically oriented oncologist that could complement and expand growing programs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment, with clinical trial development and design experience to serve as the Director for Phase 1/Investigational Therapeutics Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of early phase clinical drug development for the Cancer Institute and clinical research/trial oversight of the faculty members within that program. He/She will be expected to lead an active clinical practice, supporting clinical trial accruals and contributing to ongoing clinical and translational research. Academic appointment will be through the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Minimum Education and Experience:
MD (or equivalent) and fellowship training required. 5+ years of Oncology Clinical trial development and design experience required. Leadership experience preferred. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
