Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Post Doc Fellow for the Pathology Department at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
This position is supported by funds from the National Institutes for Health. Highly motivated individuals, with a passion for research and education are encouraged to apply. The program involves 70% effort on research and 30% effort on educational activities and career development. The Post Doc Fellow participates in the vibrant research community of Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Designs, performs and analyzes experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics or behavioral science.
Remains up-to-date in relevant scientific literature.
Writes scientific papers for submission to journals.
Presents research work at national scientific conferences.
Attends teaching and career development workshops sponsored by the IRACDA-INSPIRE Program.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in a relevant field of Cellular and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics or related field.
Evidence of prior experience and productivity in research and education must be demonstrated.
