The Revelo lab is seeking for a highly motivated Reseacher 1 to assist with the planning and execution of studies investigating the role of the immune system in the development of metabolic disease.
100% Candidate will collect and interpret data with their own research project under the direct supervision of the PI. During lab meetings, he/she will be expected to present research data, and will be expected to contribute intellectually in research discussions. Keep detailed records of experiments and procedures performed. Expected to conduct background literature research. Harvest, process and store tissue specimens using sterile techniques Perform experiments involving flow cytometry and other molecular or cellular assays Analyze, organize and present data
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 4 years. Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of flow cytometry experiments.
Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with biomedical research techniques including immunoassays, cell culture, western blotting, and biochemical assays -Knowledge of basic immunological mechanisms is highly desirable.
