The successful candidate for this Data Entry Operator I position will be a dynamic, motivated, detail oriented and highly organized individual who is experienced with using database software to populate information into a searchable functional database of information.Â Specifically, the NCCC has created a database to track individuals who did part of their training at the undergraduate, graduate or post-doctoral level, or as a summer student, in one of the various educational training programs at USC-NCCC.Â Using a software database tool called CREATE, the successful Data Entry candidate will populate the data base with information on trainees over the last 10 years and maintain updated and accurate information thereafter. Information will be obtained by tapping into information available in various data bases used by NCCC, and through information available on the internet and social media as needed. Using the CREATE database, the Data Entry Operator will also generate standard reports and will have the opportunity to be involved in data trend analyses and will work in close collaboration with the Bioinformatics team of the NCCC.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience: 0-1 years
Minimum Field of Expertise: General knowledge of data entry, strong internet research/searching skills, social media searching and information gathering.Â Knowledge in medical, cancer and biology terminology, academic terminology and ability to query a SQL database and generate standard reports.
Preferred Experience: General knowledge of academic career development from high school to the faculty level.
