We seek candidates tocomplement and extend departmental and campus-wide research in regulation ofintestinal epithelial tight junctions and barrierfunction by occluding and interacting proteins. Researchincorporating experience in cellular and molecular biology in the area ofgastrointestinalbiology areencouraged.
We seekcandidateswith experience in cell biology techniques such as epithelialcell and molecular biology, ion channels, cell/organoid culture, in vivostudies in mice, and microinjection techniques. A backgroundin gastrointestinal biology, epithelialbiology and enteroidtechnology isstronglydesired.
