The Gynecologic Cancers Program of the NCI-designated Stephenson Cancer Center (SCC)at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is inviting applications for multiple tenure-track positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level who conduct basic, translational and clinical research in the following areas:
Mechanisms of tumor development and progression, and cancer treatment-related toxicities
Research that interfaces cancer with metabolism, obesity, diabetes and/or aging
Drug discovery, drug development, and experimental therapeutics
The Gynecologic Cancers Program is a highly interactive basic discovery through clinical research program with an equal number of PhD and MD investigators. The faculty have developed drugs from bench to bedside and are national leaders in the design and conduct of practice-changing clinical trials. The SCC is a top accruing Lead Academic Participating Site in the NCTN and NRG Oncology. Resources SCC shared resources include a tissue bank containing clinically annotated gynecologic cancer specimens and the opportunity to collect specimens prospectively.
