80% - Human induced pluripotent stem cell experiment coordination and execution Responsible for execution of experiments related to human induced pluripotent stem cells including cardiomyocyte differentiation. Prepare the lab for cell culture and assist other lab members in designing experiments. Experiments will be monitored and analyzed, with findings shared with PI and other members of the laboratory staff. Follow up analysis may also often be required.
10% - Laboratory Operations Participate collaboratively in the ongoing operations of the laboratory, which may include ordering supplies, and monitoring inventory.
10% - Other Duties and Projects as Assigned

Required Qualifications • BS/BA and 1 year of related experience in a biological or related biomedical field or equivalent combination of education and work experience to equal 5 years • Previous work experience in a research laboratory setting or similar environment • Demonstrated experience with cell culture, western blots, viral transfection and other molecular biology methodology • Exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with culture and differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cell cardiomyocytes, experience with CRISPR/Cas9
