The Cell Death Signaling Laboratory (https://nyuad.nyu.edu/en/research/centers-labs-and-projects/galadari-lab.html) at NYUAD invites applications from individuals to be appointed as a Post-Doctoral Associate. The research group under the supervision of Professor Sehamuddin Galadari, will focus on studying the role of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in cell death and cell survival. The applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree in areas of Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Medicine, and related field. The applicant should have ambient knowledge and experience in working with mammalian cell culture, protein expression, protein purification, immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, immunostaining, and flow cytometry. Experience with a range of relevant biomedical technologies, such as CRISPR, primary cell assays, confocal microscopy, and in vivo oncology model systems is highly desirable.
The term of employment is for two years (renewable). The employee will be benefited with competitive tax free salary, housing subsidies, health insurance for the employee and their eligible dependents.
