Applications are solicited for an individual to be appointed as a Post Doctoral Associate under the supervision of Professor Nate Traaseth. The research will focus on the structural biology of tyrosine kinase signaling by using the fibroblast growth factor receptor as the model system.
Successful applicants will be highly motivated with an interest in working in biophysical chemistry and must hold a Ph.D. degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have research experience in biochemistry, biophysics, and/or structural biology.
The terms of employment which would be a year, with a possibility of renewal, include a competitive salary and other benefits. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates will be considered until the position is filled.
