SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE , Picower Institute for Learning and Memory-Nedivi Lab (2 openings), to join a neuroscience research laboratory. The primary duty will be to participate in research under the direction of the laboratory head and a postdoctoral associate, including the execution of experiments and collection and organization of data.
The position would be ideal from someone who is interested in attending graduate school following this experience.
REQUIRED : exposure to a research laboratory, preferably with molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell culture experience or with two-photon imaging, MATLAB, and/or small mammal surgical procedures; a strong interest in biology; ability to work both independently and with others, follow directions, follow up on tasks, and work with precision and attention to detail; and willingness to work with animal experimentation and strictly follow CAC protocol.
