Lee Lab Opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately to study the stress response in cancer cells and mouse models. The Lee laboratory is located at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California in Los Angeles. One major focus is to understand the function and regulation of the glucose regulated protein (GRP78) through biochemical, genetic and imaging analysis. We are also investigating potential therapeutic agents that will regulate GRP78 expression and the mechanism. For review that summarizes Lee lab research area, see

Experience in tissue culture, gene cloning, molecular biology, Western blot, protein biochemistry, cell imaging, histology, immunohistochemistry and mouse handling will be useful.
