60 % Independently perform experimental sample preparation and collection. Common multi-step tasks include reagent preparation, handling animals, antibody staining tissues/cells for fluorescence imaging, flow cytometry, cutting tissue slides for histology, counting cells, and performing data acquisition.
40% Assist in the design and implementation of experiments with development of new experimental protocols. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing experimental samples and generating, recording and analyzing data.
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related Biomedical field and at least one year of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience to equal 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with animals, performing flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy. Skilled at data management and good record keeping practices.
