Posting Summary: Candidates must have a doctorate degree, research background in biotechnology and molecular biology or a related discipline, and strong commitment to effective teaching utilizing data-driven pedagogies in the classroom. Teaching responsibilities include: general biology, introductory biology, cell biology courses, and/or other courses within the successful candidate's area of expertise, or as needed by the department. The successful candidate is expected to establish an active research program that includes mentoring of undergraduates and leads to peer-reviewed publications. the ability to contribute to a proposed Bioinformatics/Genomic/Proteomics B.S/ M.S/Ph.D degree program would be desirable.
