The Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology Laboratory (CPTL) of the Department of Pathology & Cell Biology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the City of New York is a CLIA-certified clinical laboratory that develops and runs mass spectrometry-based quantitative assays to monitor drug levels in support of patient care. The lab has a full-time postdoctoral position available.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will work in the area of Mass Spectrometry-based Drug Level Monitoring in support of Precision Medicine guided Pharmacotherapy in Cancer. Projects that the candidate will work on include assay development, interpretation of clinical and translational pharmacology data, as well as clinical studies into the feasibility and value of monitoring blood levels of drugs that are prescribed to cancer patients based on various precision-medicine approaches.
