Under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), responsibilities are related to a project focused on characterizing novel mouse models of Alzheimer's disease. Characterization will focus mainly on tissue processing for immunohistochemical and biochemical analyses. Responsibilities include the following: collection of mice tissue, processing and staining of tissues by immunohistochemistry; conducting routine molecular biology assays, such as Western blots, ELISAs and PCR; maintaining data records.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
