Immunome, Inc. a biotechnology organization located in Exton, PA is challenging the way we treat cancer and other diseases by leveraging highly tumor-educated B cells within patients’ immunome systems. We are currently seeking a skilled, enthusiastic Senior Research Scientist to join our High-Throughput Screening team.
The Senior Research Scientist will have a significant role credentialing targets which will further our biological processes and in turn impact Immunome’s mission.
He/she will also be responsible for:
Initiating and performing assay development and optimization as well as screening/characterizing panels of potential biologic therapeutics.
Managing automated hybridoma curation workflow.
Maintaining automation systems and developing new protocols.
Reviewing the proper operation and maintenance of current laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
Integrating and establishing workflow with automation robots, such as liquid handler.
Testing standard procedures to provide recommendations for improvements.
Streamlining workflows and developing automated laboratory processes and instrumentation systems, including collecting and documenting requirements, developing concepts, design, testing/validating, implementing and training.
Working closely with external vendors regarding new technologies and instrumentation.
Experience with operating and programming liquid handling robotics platforms (i.e. Janus, BioMek, Hamilton, TECAN).
Working knowledge of cell culture/aseptic technique.
Strong organizational and communication skills; as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work in cross-functional team setting.
Encompass a can-do attitude to drive productivity and efficiency.
Extensive experience with multi-dimensional data analysis tools, including Spotfire, Vortex or equivalent. (preferred)
The ability to interpret results and design follow-up experiments.
Demonstrated understanding of programming and debugging with Python, SQL, LIMS, or other relevant enterprise software package. (preferred)
Master’s degree in biology or other Life Sciences discipline preferred, with a minimum bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience designing, building and integrating complex automation configurations for high-throughput applications in pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry.
Broad knowledge and experience in assay development and optimization.
Flow Cytometry and multiple screening assay formats experience.
