Posting Summary: This is a 12-month, tenure-track research assistant professor position. Duties will include research, outreach, and teaching with the primary focus on research in an area of Biotechnology. The successful candidate will develop the CRISPR /Cas 9 genome editing projects in plants. Also, the individual assuming this position will interact and collaborate with other departmental researchers working in the areas of plants, and natural and environmental sciences. He or she will establish an externally funded ongoing research program and direct graduate and undergraduate student's research projects. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to teach undergraduate and graduate courses depending on the departmental need.
