Position Title: Tenure Track Faculty – Quality Systems
The Department of Engineering Technologies in the College of Technology, Architecture & Applied Engineering is seeking to fill a full time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, in the areas of Quality Systems/Systems Engineering including statistical quality control, reliability systems, lean systems, and systems engineering in general.
Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate level courses in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering areas
Conduct research that leads to peer-reviewed publications in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering
Conduct cutting edge research that is supported by external funding
Provide appropriate service to the department, college, university, and the profession
Expected Start Date: August 2020.

Statement of research plan (some start-up funding may be available, based on the merit of research plan),
Unofficial transcripts for degrees completed,

A doctoral degree in quality engineering, industrial and systems engineering, or very closely related discipline. ABD candidates will be considered but must complete their Ph.D. by the position start date.
Evidence of undergraduate/graduate teaching in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering areas
At least 1 year of experience in teaching and developing undergraduate/graduate courses at the university level
Experience in online teaching
At least 2 years of industry experience in Quality related role
Evidence of peer-reviewed publications and external funding in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering areas
