THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThis half time position (20 hours per week) assists with coordination and support for a federally funded research grant examining community training. Assists coordinating data collection and coding for the TEAMS study. Conducts interviews with participating caregivers to collect student behavioral data and will use a specified data tracking software fluently to track related study activity. Monitors, manages and distributes surveys to participants using the study software system. Codes classroom videos for fidelity to the intervention. Associated tasks include training and work oversight of other Lab Assistants and volunteers to assist with preparing for training and coaching and inputting study data. Other duties may include data entry, behavioral video coding, maintaining accurate lists of participants, and sending, tracking and editing surveys using qualtrics as needed. Required Qualifications
Knowledge of data entry, autism and autism interventions and school systems is necessary to completing tasks for this position.
Experience working in a research setting
Fluent in Spanish
Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations
Experience working with parents of children with autism spectrum disorder. Enough knowledge of ASD and schools to accurately respond to parent questions and help them understand school systems.
Experience with behavioral interviewing and assessment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word and ishare database
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
B.A. /B.S. in Psychology, Human Development or similar field and/or equivalent combination of experience/training
Experience working effectively both independently and as part of a team
Understanding of school district policies and procedures, parents rights and needs of students with autism spectrum disorders
Basic understanding of implementation science models
