THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Clinical Research Coordinator is a health professional having an advanced-level working knowledge of data management activities, including the skills to coordinate and follow through in coordinating and assisting with the outcome of clinical studies involving human subjects. Additionally, this position will serve as the first point of contact for patients, and interact with radiology faculty, fellows, residents, clinical personnel and staff assisting in the clinical and research aspects of the PET Explorer entreprise. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to cooperate as a team member. The position requires certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Also required is the use of advanced-level knowledge and skills to independently coordinate, direct and follow through in the overall administration and outcome of one or more clinical studies. Occasional travel (between UC Davis Health and PET Explorer) as well as overtime will be required. Work location is in Sacramento/3195 Folsom Blvd. Sacramento, CA. However, incumbent may be required to work at other UCD Health sites, including the ACC and the main hospital based on radiology demands. Required Qualifications
Must possess and maintain certification as a Certified Clinical Research Profession (CCRP) through SoCRA and/or a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) through ACRP.
Minimum two years of experience as a clinical research coordinator with demonstrated increasing level of responsibility.
Advanced skills and experience to independently coordinate and be accountable for the overall administration and outcome of one or more clinical studies.
Advanced-level knowledge and understanding of radiology as applied to clinical research.
Possess an advanced working knowledge of federal & state regulations, GCP guidelines, HIPAA, institutional policies, and SOPs for conduct of human subjects' research.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access and other database applications.
Working knowledge of Epic and Radiant systems for procedure scheduling.
Must have the communication skills to convey factual information; to engage in collaborative problem-solving and negotiation with staff, patients and colleagues and serve as a role model, including demonstrating service excellence and upholding the university's Principles of Community when working with clinical and research subjects.
