The Inova Schar Cancer Institute is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work with our Molecular Tumor Board program and related studies. As an integral member of the molecular tumor board team and in compliance with all ICH-GCP, DHHS (OHRP and FDA) and Inova health system policies, implements the day-to-day activities of the tumor board ensuring efficient and effective operations. Specifically: * Explain purpose of study and obtain subjects' informed consent * Responsible for collecting and managing processing and storage of biological samples within a hospital setting and/or outpatient setting * Ensure compliance with protocols and overall objectives * Collects, validates, and enters data using established tools, technology and databases to facilitate data analysis * Act as liaison between Principal Investigator, collaborating researchers with the various institutions * Adhere to GCP, FDA and Inova Health System guidelines when implementing research trials to ensure the highest quality research within Inova Health System * Attend routine weekly meetings and other meetings related to the research * Oversee laboratory operations, such as ordering supplies and ensuring maintenance of freezers * Stay abreast of information and any changes to study protocol * Design and implement data and specimen collection methodology tools * Responsible for completing accurate case report forms, source documents, and queries * Responsible for coordinating the protocol and assist in overseeing the development and progress of the research trials
