Job Summary: This is an open submission process for all persons applying for a postdoctoral research position within the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Alabama. Persons holding these positions are to conduct research with various faculty members on a variety of projects including biochemistry, molecular biology, neurobiology, virology, physiology, microbiology, systematics and ecology; or solid-state chemistry, inorganic and organic synthesis, materials science and mass spectrometry, molecular spectroscopy, and biomolecules. Other specialties may apply.
Additional Department Summary: Post-Doctoral positions are non-tenure earning.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. required in one or more specialized fields within biology or chemistry, pertinent to the specific job description for which you are applying. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience and in working across disciplines.
