IU Arnett Hospital, located in Lafayette Indiana established a new PGY1 residency program in 2018. Our program is in candidate status with ASHP and has two positions available for the upcoming year. This residency will focus on clinical services, teaching and research. Rotations offered include internal medicine, intensive care unit, emergency department, administration, transitions of care, cancer care/genomics, academia/research and additional rotations based on interest. Our hospital is located miles from Purdue University and our residency has a strong partnership with Purdue College of Pharmacy. Our residents will have the opportunity to complete the Indiana Pharmacy Teaching Certificate Program (IPTeC), lecture in class and practice labs at Purdue University, facilitate students in the Purdue Patient Simulation Laboratory, and precept Purdue APPE rotation students. Residents will also complete a research project and present their findings at Great Lakes Pharmacy Resident Conference.
