The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department in the College of Engineering at The University of Toledo (UT) in Toledo, Ohio invites applications for two (2) tenure-track Computer Science assistant professor positions beginning August 2020.
The successful candidates will be expected to teach Computer Science courses effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels, attract external funding for his/her research program, and build a graduate research program (both masters and doctoral level) that includes the development of a new research lab in her/his area of expertise. We are particularly interested in candidates with research expertise in theoretical Computer Science or with academic and/or industry experience in Software Engineering to complement the current research strengths of our Computer Science & Engineering and affiliated faculty, which include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Signal & Image Processing, Computer Vision, Wireless Networks, and Cybersecurity.
