Reporting directly to the dean, the Director of EMBA and Executive Education Programs will hold an administrative faculty position and be responsible for the overall strategy and management of the on-campus EMBA, online EMBA, and corporate programs to ensure they are aligned with the University and Saunders College goals. Building upon a strong brand and reputation, the Director will work with the faculty, staff, dean and external stakeholders to position the curricula and programs for continued growth, including developing strategic relationships with external partners and clients. Collaboration with other RIT academic and administrative offices such as Graduate Enrollment Services, Registrar, Financial Aid, Bursar, and the Dean of Graduate Studies to ensure the timely flow of student information and to ensure compliance with RIT processes, policies, New York Department of Education regulations, and AACSB accreditation requirements.
Provide strategic, operational, and financial oversight of SCB Executive Education programs. Stay abreast of emerging trends in executive education to identify opportunities for curricular and program innovations.
Lead partnership initiatives to establish strong relationships with corporate executives, business leaders, and other organizations to support program opportunities and increase enrollments/revenue.
Work collaboratively with the EMBA faculty and staff to develop and implement comprehensive executive education programs. Identify/ schedule faculty to teach in Executive MBA programs.
Teach selected EMBA courses (generally 2 based on hrs. at)
Manage EMBA staff, projects and priorities including hiring and retaining staff as well as performance development plans. Support the professional development of Executive Education staff and continue the strong culture of team work and collaboration
Manage program assessment including faculty evaluation and program goal compliance with AACSB and institute standards.
Support of other Saunders College activities, as required
Required Minimum Qualifications
Ten years of senior management and/or leadership experience
MBA or other advanced degree
Required Minimum Education Level Masters-Other, MBA
